Before Your Treatment (Pre-Care)

To ensure your skin is calm, healthy, and ready to respond:

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including self-tanners) for at least 7–10 days prior.
  • Discontinue active products such as retinoids, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), and prescription acne medications 3–5 days before your session.
  • Pause in-office procedures such as chemical peels, waxing, or laser treatments on the same area for at least 1 week prior.
  • Hydrate well drink plenty of water and use a gentle moisturizer to keep your skin barrier strong.
  • Notify your provider if you are taking antibiotics, using Accutane, or have a history of cold sores or active breakouts.
  • Arrive with clean skin no makeup on the treatment area.

After Your Treatment (Post-Care)

Your skin will begin a process of renewal and repair. To protect and enhance your results:

  • Do not touch, rub, wash, or pick at the treated area for at least 24 hours. In some cases, up to 48 hours.
